Repeat prescription

Repeat prescriptions can be obtained by leaving or sending your repeat prescription slip or written prescription request to the surgery. Your prescription can then be collected 48 working hours after receipt. Requests for repeat prescriptions are NOT normally accepted over the telephone; this is to avoid mistakes. Some of the local pharmacies provide a repeat prescription service.

Repeat prescription means a prescription for medication which is listed on your prescription counterfoil. If it is not listed, it is not a repeat prescription.
